Introduction
BlaknBlu is a Eurorack maker based in Cambridge, UK. BlaknBlu Limited, led by founder Adam Garstone, was established in 2003 and began unveiling Eurorack modules in 2024. Adam writes that after studying physics and electronics and building recording studio and television equipment, he began designing modules himself because the ones he wanted did not exist.
Oscar Tria Mk II is a 10HP stereo oscillator with three modes: swarm, traditional VCO and chord engine. Foxtrot Duo Mk II is a stereo VCF offering three filter styles: Minimoog ladder, MS-20 Sallen & Key and Oberheim SEM. Oscar DSF Mk II and Alpha Duo Mk II form a voice at the same width.
There are four design principles: sound good; avoid requiring users to memorize menus, button combinations or LED colors; work across prog, techno, acid and synth-pop; and make stereo the default while fitting into mono racks. The company says it does not make modules similar to those already available.
Oscar Tria Mk II and Foxtrot Duo Mk II are lucky draw prizes at MODULARHABIT 2026.
