weiii

weiii is a Taiwan-based artist working with modular synthesis, field recording, feedback and improvisational systems. Her practice explores the relationships between sound, visuals and perception, including visual experiments in VCV Rack and more recent interactive audiovisual systems. Her performances often begin with simple signals and rules, allowing structures to emerge and evolve through the interaction between performer and system. She has performed in Taiwan and Japan, including at the Festival of Modular in Tokyo, and is a co-founder of 3 Modular Synth Project (3MSP), a platform for modular synthesis performance and artistic exchange in Taiwan.
