Dave Skipper

Dave Skipper is a British noise artist who has been based in Tokyo since 2010. He has performed live with his modular synth at 300 shows in Japan, and is thrilled to join MODULARHABIT 2026 for his Seoul debut. Dave is one of the founding organisers of Tokyo Festival of Modular and regularly organises small noise shows in Tokyo. With a passion for intense and detailed sounds, Dave explores the abstract edges of noise, drone, electroacoustic and experimental soundscapes. He is also working on a major research book project, ‘Deep Sonics’, writing a detailed analysis of sounds mentioned in the Bible while developing a distinctly Christian philosophy of sound.
