Alpha Decay

Alpha Decay is a modular synthesizer addict and a French live sound engineer based in Barcelona. The project was born a decade ago within the city’s DIY underground modular scene. Through her modular system, she builds sonic landscapes that oscillate between experimental, dreamlike textures and a raw, hard-hitting electro techno infused with broken beats. In her live performances, sound emerges as a material in constant transformation: fractured rhythms, analog basslines, layers of noise, textures and glitches intertwine and evolve in real time. She has presented her work at festivals such as Modular Day Beijing, FOM Tokyo, Modular Day Barcelona, Dutch Modular Fest Den Haag, Avara Finland, MEM Bilbao, Sump Lisboa, Ensolab Festival Alicante, Festival Sismògraf Olot and Rizomes Festival, as well as at venues like Razzmatazz BCN.
